Benjamin Mirasol

Benjie Mirasol is currently a professor in social entrepreneurship at the Ateneo de Manila University, School of Management. For the last 15 years since 2001, he has also been deeply involved with the Christ the King – Greenmeadows Parish of the Cubao diocese. He heads the parish music ministry, organizes the annual mass weddings and baptisms for the Libis community poor, and is project manager for the housing development projects of Gawad Kalinga and the Cubao diocese to benefit the Libis underprivileged and parish retired staff, aside from being involved in other social, spiritual, educational, event organization, home building and evangelization activities of the parish.

He had been president, country manager, and MD of RGI Innovative Designs Corp., TV Media Vision Shop, and Silvestri Overseas Ltd. from 1994 to 2001. A two-year stint in Singapore from 1992 to 1994 saw him work in high tech and commodities futures. His longest corporate stint, for eight years, was with the Benguet Group of Companies, where he was CEO of a manufacturing subsidiary as well as director for several others.
