Last November 7 and November 11, 2016, for two hours each day, as part of the 13th Professorial Chair Colloquium, the College of Engineering held simultaneous lectures by its Professorial Chair grantees in various venues in Melchor Hall and the Engineering Complex. At the first board meeting of UPIEAA in 2017, the board that was elected in October 2016 at the UPIEAA homecoming unanimously agreed on Ricky Banaag, former President and General Manager of Intel Philippines, to be its new president, replacing Bing del Rosario who had been at the helm for two consecutive years.
