Boyet Castro (1981)

Francisco Leodegario Castro, Jr. spent most of his professional career in the local oil industry, starting off at Petron Corporation right after graduating from college. Over the next 30-plus years, he moved through various Engineer, Supervisor, and Manager positions in Petron, Accenture Consulting, Total (Philippines Corporation), and the Herma Group, mostly in Oil Terminal/Depot operations. Presently, he works as a consultant for the local oil industry, and is an independent member of the Rules Change Committee of the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market.

He is a part-time Lecturer at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and also a small business owner (retail drugstore). He is currently pursuing his PhD in Energy Engineering at UP- Diliman.

Boyet is married and has two grown children. He lives in Antipolo, Rizal. He enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family. He has recently returned to practice with Yuishinkan-Aikido, and a return to active running is also planned.
