UPIEAA Holds 2015 General Membership Meeting
UPIEAA held the 2015 General Membership Meeting last October 21 at the Cardona Room, Valle Verde Country Club, which had been earlier announced via the UPIEAA.ORG website and Facebook page, in addition to direct e-mail blast. Directors in attendance included: Bing del Rosario, Benjie Mirasol, Eugene Gonzales, Liza Ting, Marton Banson, Kevin Hartigan-Go, Ting Joson, Kenny Bulahan, and ex-officio and immediate past president Elise del Rosario.
IE Alumni Take Center Stage at the 2015 UPAE Homecoming
Three IE alumni were elected to the board of the UP Alumni Engineers, the mother organization of the departmental alumni and fraternal alumni associations, at the November 7, 2015 UPAE Homecoming held at the Ang Bahay ng Alumni. 15 College of Engineering alumni were nominated and eight were elected to replace the eight of 15 directors who were stepping down.
UPIEAA Holds Workshop for IE Seniors on Behavioral Competencies Used by Corporate Recruiters
Last August 24, 2015, the UPIEAA conducted a “Behavioral Competencies RCTLCL Workshop” from 2 to 5PM at the Beta Epsilon Audiovisual Room of the College of Engineering, as part of its Industry-Academe Linkage Program, in cooperation with the IEOR Department. IEAA Director Frederick Lopez, UPIE’76 and Business Resiliency Consultant of the PHINMA Group of Companies, conducted the workshop for 20 senior IE students.
