Jaime del Rosario

Jaime “Bing” del Rosario took early retirement in 2002 after heading Accenture Philippines for two years as President & Managing Director and Andersen Consulting Philippines for six years as Country Managing Partner (before Andersen Consulting went public and took the name Accenture in early 2001). Concurrently, he had run Andersen Consulting’s ASEAN products practice for two years, then Andersen Consulting’s Asia practice in competency development for another two years. Previous to this, he had been a consulting partner, since 1985, with SGV & Co.-Arthur Andersen’s management services.  Bing also wrote a weekly business management column for Business Day and its later reincarnation BusinessWorld, from 1987 to 2002. He had sat on a number of boards and advisory groups until 2010.

With wife Elise, also a UPIE alumna and the former UPIEAA president, the del Rosarios run a foundation that they created upon retirement, One Small Step Forward Foundation Inc., which focuses on providing after-school academic programs and infrastructure support for the Quezon City public elementary school system. Three years ago, Mr. del Rosario was recognized as one of the Top 100 UP Engineering Alumni of the First 100 Years.
