The Search is on for the UPIEAA Distinguished Alumni Award

Who are qualified for the UPIEAA Distinguished Alumni Award?
The UPIEAA Distinguished Alumni Award aims to recognize outstanding Industrial Engineers who obtained a degree (bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral levels) from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, in a program offered by the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.

The Award
The annual award recognizes individuals who have brought honor to the University and is
bestowed on individuals who have applied their Industrial Engineering training towards the advancement of the IE profession or in serving the cause of humanity, society, community or the nation, or who have displayed excellence in the practice and study of the various fields of Industrial Engineering.

Criteria include professional excellence (use of IE skills in his work), leadership, and service, and impact.

To be considered, your Nominee’s  Curriculum vitae detailing achievements in the field  must be received by the Search Committee by August 29, 2014.

Successful nominee will be presented the Award during the UPIEAA alumni homecoming on October 4, 2014.
